I have an old Access 97 database that I need to put back into use.
want to open it up in Access 2003. The problem is that I can't becaus
the 97 database was secured using the workgroup administrator. I don'
have the mdw file anymore and am not sure what happened too it. I
there a way I can access the mdb file and get the tables, queries
forms....etc.... out into another mdb file? I have tried doing a
import into another mdb but it errors saying I don't have the rights.
have tried just opening the file with the same results. I set th
system.mdw file to what I believe the admin and password should hav
been. I get a login prompt but am still not able to get past it. I
there something that I am missing. Can someone please help me out?

Thanks, Bil

Do you have a paper record of the account details for your secure mdw? If
so then you can recreate it from that, else I'm afraid your left with buying
a "crack" tool from some of the many vendors on the net.
