I'm stumped. Running an Access 97 database which is saved
on a network drive (W2K with SP3 / current accepted hot
fixes) and accessed by 4 remote users via the WAN. Total
user base 15 people. Clients are running W2K with various
SP's.
Been experiencing the following issues for the past week.
1. Not recognizing various forms - error says they are
misspelled or refers to a form that doesn't exist. The
forms exist and are not misspelled. I've tried exporting
the forms from a prior copy of the db and I get a save
operation failed error.
2. Source code running behind a form is not generating
properly and the code halts. I've verified the code has
not been modified.
3. Quite a few abnormal terminations have occurred over
the past week also.
Up until today the repair and compact fixed the issues for
a short time before they would occur again. I ran JetComp
today this didn't seem to help.
I saw some posts re issues with SP3 but they were from
some time ago and I thought the issues were fixed. Our
servers were upgraded approx 1 month ago and during that
time we were not actively using the db.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
