Access 97 & NT 4.0 vs. Access 97 & Win 2K

We are presently in the process of upgrading our network.
We originally were working on an NT network and Access
97. We are now upgrading to Win 2000 and keeping Access
97 for the time being. The problem we are experiencing is
that when a station with Win2k loaded, opens a table in
Access 97, it seems to lock all the NT users from the same
table. The other users can only get in when the Win2k
station exits Access.

Any ideas???

1) It probably has to do with the permissions you
have set for the users.

2) If not, try turning off Opportunistic locking
(OPLOCKS) on the file server.
