Access 97 - problem copying since installing XP

I use a secured Access 97 database on a shared network drive. Since upgrading
to Windows XP, I am bumped out of the database when I try to copy data. I
run a query, and try to copy using different techniques such as right-click,
copy or ctrl+c, and each time I receive an error message asking if I want to
send a report. No matter what I select, I am bumped out of Access. When
selecting Send Report, I'm taken to a website to upgrade my version of
Access. This is a multi-user environment with some users on Windows 2000. I
prefer not to upgrade at this time based on other posts I reviewed today.

Any suggestions?

Thanks! Mary

I may have this issue resolved, I'll know Monday when the user returns and
tries to use Access. Not sure which step corrected the issue, but it now
works when I log onto her pc. Based on other posts, I imported all objects
to a new database, repaired and compacted. I also replaced her TNSNAMES.ora
and Local.ora files since the database is linked with Oracle. My guess is
that the Local.ora file was not updated properly when her pc was upgraded to
XP and she lost the connection.
