Access 97 Quits Unexpectedly After Query Completes

I've had an ongoing problem with Access 97 quiting
unexpectedly after running an append or make table query.
I'm running under Win 2000 Pro. This problem has occured
on multiple machines. I've applied all available updates
using the Windows and Office Update pages on Microsoft's
website. Have applied the Jet 4.0 service pack as of
7/11/2003.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so, have
you found a solution?
