Access 97 there is no object in this control

I'm using Access 97 on my XP pc and office 2003 and want to import data from
Excel 2003 into an existing
Access table. Using File - Get Ext. Data and selecting import Excel file I
get "there is no object in this control".

Even though you are running 97, I suspect the information is still valid
(although some of the .dll names may have changed a bit..)

If that doesn't help, go to http://support.microsoft.com/search/? Paste in
"there is no object in this control", including quotes, and see if any of
the results seem to pertain to your situation.
