Access 97 upgrade to Access 2002

Dear all,

I currently have a site with Access 97 installed and I am planning to
migrate (not all PC's at the same time) from Access 97 to Access 2002.

My questions are:

.. Can I have Access 97 FrontEnds and Access 2002 FrontEnds using the
BackEnd created with Access 97?
.. If previous is yes, can I open the BackEnd (for maintenance
purposes) with Access 97 or Access 2002 indistinctly?

Thanks.

Angel.

Yes and no.

You can have Access 97 and Access 2002 front ends, both with linked tables
from an A97 back end.

You cannot modify the objects in your A97 back end using A2002.
