Access 97 & Windows XP

Never seen this one B4. Recently installed Access 97 on a
Windows XP (Professional) system. Using an access
database from our network, I have several queries that
run, but give me blank results. The same queries run
without problem on a Windows 98 system. Any clues? The
queries are simple Make Table Queries.

At the risk of being stupid, it often turns out to be a
data error. Is the DATE right? The application
Configuration? Are you connected to the right data source?
etc etc.

Not stupid at all.....found myself looking through the
database, and the data is fine. It works wonderfully in
Access 97 with a 98 desktop, but using Access 97 with a XP
system, it dumps!
could I have a .dll or an .ocx file problem? I'm not
using modules only queries?
