Access 97

I'm currently running Windows XP Home Edition but have
Access 97. Will Access 97 run properly on my current OS?
or do I need to go for a newer version of Access?

Yep. I'm running A97 (along with 2000 and 2002) on WindowsXP Pro and
it works fine.

hello! please help with this issue:

With win98 and access97, i always had no problems opening
image documents linked to controls in access. i cannot
open them in winxp -error msg re: "a problem occured when
Access tried to access the OLE file". This occurs with
either access97 or access 2002 under Win XP but never
under Win ME or Win 98. Any suggestions? Thanks!

This sounds like a "DLL Hell" installation problem. What's the error
number and/or the exact text of the error message? I'm not finding
this text in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
