Import a table. File types for text, Excle, and HTML are
missing. I re-ran set up and these types are greyed out
saying they are already installed. I have completly
removed the application and re-installed with all the
data types and filter selected and they still come up
missing.

Try re-registering the dll files like this:
Start Run
regsvr32 msexcl35.dll
regsvr32 msxbse35.dll
regsvr32 mspdox35.dll
regsvr32 mstext35.dll

Use 40 instead of 35 for A2K and 2002.
