Access 97

When using Access 97 in a Windows 2000 environment the
report wizard will not select records. A messages appears
saying "no current record". I have verified records are
in the table. This does work in a Access 97 and Windows
98 environment. Any suggestions?

I use Access 97 in a Windows 2000 Pro environment and do not see this
problem.

If you don't have them already, I'd certainly make certain I had applied
both Service Releases and any separate patches to Access 97, and all current
SPs and patches to Win 2000. But, I doubt that is your problem.

I'm reluctant to advise this, as it has rarely solved any problems I've
observed, but perhaps before applying the SRs and patches, you might
uninstall Access 97, download the software from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads that wipes the last vestiges of the
debris left behind from the system, and then do a clean reinstall.

At least, once you do this, you'll be working from a known clean install
with all service applied.
