Access 97

I have set up Office 97 on my old pc to work in Access
and while it will open all of the other applications i
get an error message in accrss that says " Microsoft
Access can't start becayse there is no icense for it on
this machine" - I have a legit version with CD key etc

I am having the same problem after installing MSO 97 on an
XP Pro machine. All the other Office apps run but when
launching an .mdb I get the same message. Also this was
retail copy of Office 97 and it worked fine on the Win2K
machine that this one replaced. if anyone has any info
please send to my address as i have been working on this
error for about two weeks and the OEM (of course) had no
idea.
