Access a 1 page .doc file for customers to view, print, and sign.

First of all thanks for all the posts - I wish I would have found this fourm
earlier.

My question: I have a corporate authorization or consent form that needs to
be signed by all of my customers. This is a one (1) page Word form (.doc) -
I can convert it to .pdf if necessary.

Basically, I would like customer that are viewing my site to be able to
click on the authorzation form, pull it up, view it, and then be ble to print
it. What is the best method of doing this?

You could use a statement on your webpage something like

Authorization Form

Capture Authorization Form with your mouse and then select Insert, Hyperlink
and fill the path and file name to where you plan to store it on your
website server.

I prefer to have a folder on the server to store all files that can be
downloaded, i.e., Downloads for the folder name.

This way when you update your website you don't accidentally delete any
downloadable files.

Don't forget to upload the file to the server. No spaces and lower case for
the file name.

Beyond the hoot...did you produce this with Serif WP? Does it have the PDF
built-in?

Actually, it was done with PagePlus X2. WP will import a pdf file
(though I'm not sure what the purpose would be unless it is some kind of
a small object to place on a page), but it will not produce one.

For the record, Alfred is a guy who posts regularly in the Serif forums.
This guy has the solution to just about everything! He also apparently
has a way of archiving and classifying solutions to problems from everyone.

You Pub guys could do well by lurking in the Serif Forum
(www.serif.com/forum/). A lot of the stuff that WP does can be done in
Pub, usually by using an HTML code fragment. In fact, before WP10 came
out, that was a recommended solution for many requests. AFAIK, you don't
have to register to view, only to post. Just today, there were a couple
of questions about how to do stuff in WP6 (an old version Serif gives
away) that are similar to questions in this NG.

Just to let you know - I have a gallon of carrots and a pint of eggplant
in the dehydrator. And NO!, I do not use it for hot peppers. I was told
that if I did, I would be coughing, gagging and suffer some severe eye
burning as the fumes fill the house.

I plan on bottling some sauce from my peppers: Warm (Hungarian Wax), Hot
(Jalapeno), Hotter (Thai Sun) and Hottest (Habenero). In a few months, I
hope to be able to bottle another type: One Drop Per Gallon (my prized
Jolokias!) If you ever stop by for a bowl of chili, I'll make sure I
don't use anything but the warm as they have less heat than tobasco
sauce but have a sweet taste!
