Access and Excel code page 1253 (Greek)

Hi All,

I found an interesting thing, and I did not find any solution yet.

I have got an Excel 2003 workbook (saved as excel97-2003 format) with greek
letters in a column. I wanted to import them to Access. When I imported and
opened the table containing the greek characters, I got some strange
characters after the correct letters. The number of strange characters are
the same as the correct one. If the excel file opened on the machine, I did
not noticed this error. Does anybody experienced the same problem and found
the solution?

I used Office 2003 MUI with SP3 on W2K Professional with SP4 and MDAC 2.8.

Any help would be appreciated.
