Access and Word integration fails under office xp in xp

I'm having a problem with an access database that normally opens a word
document using the info from the database;

The confusing thing is it works fine on office xp on windows 98 but not
since I installed it on my new machine that came with xp home.

The error message is "Object variable or With block variable not set "

I see from a previous post that this might have something to do with the
normal.dot template
although word has no problem opening independently. Could it be there is
some formatting not available on my new machine?

Any ideas much appreciated

Hi Angus,

It sounds like a VBA error you are encountering. Does the Access
database contain any VBA code? Are there any macros available to Word
or stored in the Normal.dot?

Additionally, did Word come preinstalled as part of Works on your new
computer?
