Access & AutoCad, copying & pasting

Why won't an AutoCad picture paste in Access 97? I copy
from AutoCad & paste in Access, but the computer, (Compaq
Pro Workstation AP550) locks up. All window securities
have been upgraded & all Access 97 option have been
selected within the install. I can process this function
on other PC's, so it's not that the clipboard is too
large. Please advise & Thank you.
