access backup

I use access to store, update and print over 3,000 mailing
list names. I have searched unsuccessfully for a way to
back up this file. I tried to drag it to a floppy and was
told that the destination was too limited.
What is the access plan for saving a file to an external
device?

thank you for your help

The file .MDB file itself can just be backed up and it will take all your
forms / reports etc along with it. If your MDB file is too large to fit on
a floppy disk (people still use those?) Either consider:

- a cd burner and write your database to cd
- a tape back up device (traditional and reliable)
- a USB storage device
(http://www.kingston.com/products/datatraveler_home.asp)
- Iomega zip drives (though not really worth it nowadays)
