Access behaving in a spooky fashion!!! please help

Hi,

I am using Win XP Pro and Access 2002 - problem is that
sometimes Access opens and starts to open the application
but then nothing appears. Then if I go into File it will
be listed under recently used and if I click it it will
open straight away.

But this is not always the case sometimes it opens
straight away no problems.

I have tried it on a network from my own pc and from
someone elses PC same thing happens.... now access opens
but the application doesn't open at all.


PLEASE HELP........
