Access cannot find Dialer.exe

N

NES

I inserted a dialer button in a form, and found that it worked well. I took
the database to my workplace, copied it to my computer there, and continued
to develop other forms, etc. Taking a copy of the new one at work home, and
copying to my machine, suddenly Access gives an error message "Windows cannot
find "dialer.exe". Make sure you typed the name..."

Dialer.exe is in the same place it has been right along -- under "program
files\windows nt\dialer.exe." The dialer button still works on my computer at
work, and if I go to the folder holding the dialer, and execute it, it's
find. But if I go to DOS and type DIALER.EXE into the run window, I get the
same message. It's like the path statement doesn't work anymore. Here is my
path statement. I certainly didn't change it, but I see that the path does
not lead to Windows NT.

PATH=C:\WINDOWS\system32;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\System32\Wbem

Do I need to add the following to the path?

;c:\program files\windows nt;

I have removed the button and re-installed it in the form, but it hasn't
helped. Can anyone tell me why I'm getting that error message, and how I can
correct the problem? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
