I have an access database that I planed to install the front end on each PCs
hard drive which links to the back end on a network server. Then with a
shortcut to the front end on each users desktop they can run the application.
This approach works for the first person to open the application but when
that person logs out and a new user logs in the database "cannot be found".
I believe I have the folder and files security set so everyone has read,
write and delete access to the folder.
I thought this was a security problem but I'm not sure. I created a blank
database and started importing tbl,qry etc and the second user was able to
open.
This Access 2000 on Win2000. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
