you can easily use a linked server, within SQL Server-- to link to an
Olap Server. then you make a simple view (or sproc) that contains the
MDX statement that you want to get.
And then; it's a view-- you can treat it just like a table and use it
whenever you want.
I've been asking for better Olap connectivity for Access MDB / ACCDB
for close to 5 years; and I just went to a MS BI Conference, and I
asked a whole bunch of people if MS was planning on making Access<-
Olap (SSAS) and I couldn't find anyone that knew anything about it.

I don't think that it's coming-- and this is just one example of how
it is better for us to be using Crystal Reports than to use MS Access
in this regard.
