There are file formats specific to each version of Access that allow you to
use the latest features of each version.
Since A2000 all future versions have been able to read that file format
without needing a conversion.
So if you code in A2003 and use the A2000 file format (and don't use any
newer features) then an A2000 user can use your .mdb file.
