Access Data Page Filtering

I need to be able to Enter Job Number and select information for that job and display on the screen. How? I have tried a hyperlink hardcoding a job number and link to the page and this works, but I cannot determine how to access a field on the screen and retrieve the data into the hyperlink. Or is there a way to pull of the job screen and enter a selection value?
