Getting Access database error after reinstalling Office
2000 Premium in Windows 2000 SP4. Office components not
functioning after running Win 2000 Repair, deleted and
reinstalled Office 2000 Premium. Office repeatedly
attempts to locate an MS Acess Database *.mdb, with pop-up
window displaying y/n/ignore options. Ran Office Repair
function, deleted and reinstalled all Access options did
not solve problem. Using ODBC Data Source Administrator,
discovered that MS Access Driver (*.mdb) is missing.
This is a non critical component, Access not used by PC
owner. Stopping pop-up window and the repeated attempt
to locate a database would be a sufficient fix.
Need help, cannot locate info on knowledge base.
