Kevin
we are trying to setup an access database so that only one
user at a time may open it. We have tried using the user
level security wizard and setting permissions for the user
group to exclusive, but then it won't let anyone (even the
admin user) open it at all. We also tried setting it to
exclusive in the options of all the users who use this
database, as well as using the file-open and selecting to
open exclusively using the down arrow next to the open
button; but none of these things have worked. We are
using Access 2000 on Windows 2000 professional, could
anyone provide the instructions for doing this
successfully?
Thank you.
