Can anyone help us set up a database that can only be
opened by one user at a time? We are using Access 2000 on
Windows 2000 Professional. We tried using the user level
security wizard and setting the user group permissions to
exclusive and then no one could open the database at all,
not even the admin user.
We tried setting the database to exclusive in the options
of all users and that failed.
We tried using file-open and selecting exclusive using the
down arrow next to the open button and that failed.
Instructions on how to do this correctly would be much
appreciated.
