Access Dates

Access 2002
I have always used medium date format in my database eg:
02-Mar-03 and always entered dates as 2/3/03 which has
always been okay. Now that it is 2004 when I enter 7/1/04
it sets the date at 7-Jan-1904 and if I enter 7/1/2004 it
comes up as 7-Jan-2004. Is there any reason for this, and
how do I fix it? Thank You.

It probably got nothing to do with Access since Access picks up the 2-digit
year interpretation from your Win OS.

In WinXP OS, check the 2-digit year interpretation in

Start / Settings / Control Panel / Regional and Language Options /
Regional Options tab / Customize... / Date tab

Normally, the default setting is 1930 to 2029 but your computer may have a
different setting.
