Access Denied in pwa page of project server 2007

i try to backup and restore the farm through the wss 3.0 . it was successfull.
but when i try to open the pwa page . and write url
http://vm/pwa

it is showing error and saying

Go back to site
Error: Access Denied

Current User
You are currently signed in as: vm\sam

Sign in as a different user


although i have an account in project server 2007.
and i change the administrator account of web application and then its work .
but i think its not a solution . because other users can try to use .that
means we will change again an again the site administrator .

pls tell me the solution why it is happening .

Hi Sam

This looks like WSS permission related issue.
Did you use the same user to restore WSS that you used to install it earlier?
Can you check the permissions set in the SharePoint administration page.

Application Management --> Application Security --> User Permissions for web
application .( here is set all permissions)
