Access Denied when creating *.mdw

I am trying to create the *.mdw file in Access 2000.
After I specify the name of the Workgroup Information
file, the file is created, but I receive the error
message "Access Denied". When I use the Workgroup
Administrator to try to join the file that was created, I
receive the same denied message. Any ideas? This happens
when I create the *.mdw file on both the local & network
drives.

This is a windows permission issue. You need modify permissions on the
folder where the mdw is.
