Can you view the properties of the PST with Windows Explorer? How large is
the PST?

Unable to display the folder. The file C:\Windows\outlook.pst could not be
accessed. Access is denied.

Let's try movng the PST elsewhere. With Windows Explorer, move (not copy)
the PST to your "My Documents" (or some other) folder. Start Outlook. It
should complain it can't find the folders and give you a browser window to
allow you to find it. Browse to the new location of your PST, select it,
and click OK. Does it work now?

I was able to move the folder to my documents. Unfortuantely when I browsed
to the new location and selected it I get the same access is denied message.
The only difference of course is it now says the file c:\My
documents\outlook.pst could not be accessed. Access is denied.

Right-click the PST and choose properties. Post what you see.

If the location shows "C:\WIndows", then you did not follow my instructions
to move the PST elsewhere. Do that first and then we can talk further.

Brian,

I did do exactly what you said (see post of 4/28/06). I moved the file back
when your suggestion did not work. It was at this point you asked me for the
properties which I gave you on the last post. Do you have any more
suggestions/tips?
