Access denied

When I try to save a document to a C/D in drive E, I receive the error
message"Access denied." Then I receive the error message "See my
administrator". I am the only user. How can I remove what appears to be some
administratvie control over saving documents to a C/D. I can save to "My
documents", but I want to create a hard copy.

Word is just trying to save you from yourself. You should not
save directly to a floppy disk or other removable media (like
CDs) from Office applications, because doing so usually results
in file corruption sooner or later. Save to the hard drive,
close the file, and then use Windows Explorer or My Computer or
your CD mastering software to copy the file to the removable media.

In response to the response to my question regarding Access Denied when
trying to save data to a C/D in drive E (my writeable C/D drive).
I tried saving my document to the hard drive, then using Windows Explorer or
My Computer to send the file to a C/D, but the drop down menu does not list
Drive E as an option when I am signed in under my original user account. I
created a secondary account and when I do the above procedure, the Drive E is
listed an an option. This is also the same problem we have with a second
computer which has both Windows XP and Office 2003. Therfore, I think it is
some kind of control device that will not allow all the users to access Drive
E.
