ACCESS DIGITAL SIGNATURE MISSING

In trying to open a database, Access tells me that the digital signature has
been removed ?virus? Access closes. I ran Norton & found none. How do I
proceed and not lose my database? MS Access 2003, XP Service pack 2, current
Office downloads installed.
