Access does not open

I can only open the database once. Once I close the
datebase, the ldb-file is removed and everything seems
fine until I try to open it again. A ldb-file is created,
but MS Access does not start. I have to End the
MSACCESS.EXE process is the task manager to be able to
start it again. Does anyone know whats wrong?
