Access does not recognise a printer

S

Sarah R.

I work in a company which has a shared network. All machines have Access and
the databases are stored centrally - however there are a couple of problems.

1. The majority of machines do not recognise any of the networked printers
in Access. There are only a couple that do.
2. Every time we try to create a report or query the printer spooler starts
up and takes up a huge amount of memory effectively freezing the machine that
is being worked on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Had a similiar problem after an upgrade. The network guy had to un-install
the printer from the machine and re-install.
