Access don't like the usability of it any other software to use?

We have several databases created in Microsoft Acess 2000. The templates are
not very user friendly. Does anyone know if the 2003 version has more user
friendly features? It requires exact data for searches and will change or
delete data without a prompt. Is there a way to change or make new templates
that are easier to use?

Also is there any software that wouldb be easier to use with the exported
Excel data from Microsoft Access?

I am not skilled in making a Microsoft Access template but if there are
newer features to use that make it more usable I would be willing to learn
it. Any help would be appreciated.

The templates are just that, "templates". You can change it (or start from
scratch) to do anything you'd like. You can do full or partial searches.
You can have dialog boxes pop up before deletes or changes. Access is a
development tool. You can make it work in any manner you'd like. If you
need help, you will have to post specific questions (one per thread please).
Or, better yet, do a search and find previous answers out here. There are
lots of useful threads that can help you figure out how to make your
application do what you want.

Feel free to post back with specific questions if you can't find the answers
in previous posts, in the built-in help files, or on the microsoft website
knowledge base. There is also online training on the microsoft website that
walks you through common design principles and procedures.

The above screens are plain Jane ms-access screens, and no special code, or
even 3rd party controls were used...

User friendliness is really a function of the developer, and how you
approach this is up to you.

It is your painting canvas..and you can dream up just about anything you
want. Go get creative!!
