Access Export to ASCII Format

I am creating an Access file to export in ASCII format,
80 character record, fixed length fields. I'd like to be
able to view my output to verify that it is formatted
correctly and edit it if necessary. I would appreciate
anyone providing me suggestions about a text viewer that
would allow me to see the 80 character record with
designated fields (without padding) so I can view/edit
the records to conform with the layout I need.

Hi Greg,

Why not test your file by importing it back into Access? The text import
wizard shows you how the fields split up.
