Access Form Problem with data changing to Chinese

I have a form with subforms and where data is entered. We
have had a few times where the record information turns
into Chinese and can not be deleted, corrected, changed.
We can not figure out what is causing it. Has any one had
this problem? ANy idea as to what might cause it so that
we can fix it?
