Added a button to save a record to my table but get the message "The command
or action 'SaveRecord' isn't available now."
What are the common reasons this happens?

thanks

Access automatically saves forms entries (records) when the form is closed.
So you souldn't have to use a save button, all you need to do to save records
is close the form.

Please post your button code.

As noted elsethread, Access saves the record for you when you close
the form or move off the record. Except to reassure users (which may
be a valid reason!) there is really very little need for such a
button.
