Access Form

Hello,

I have an Excel spreadsheet I use for a database. I am trying to make a
form in Access to make data entry easier.

When I open the spreadsheet in Access and make a columnar form and try to
input data, I cannot change any of the entries or input new data. The add
record button is also grayed out.

Thanks

I just want to use Access because the input forms are easier to use, and I
can rearrange the sequence of input. If I open an excel file with the data I
want, can I delete the link and then input into the access table?

Not sure what you mean by open the file and delete the link - if you open
the linked table you can't very well delete the link to the spreadsheet
while it's open...
