Access Freezes on Query

Hi,

I've linked several tables from a visual fox pro database
to an access 2002 database, and when i run a query on the
linked tables, access ""SOMETIMES"" stops responding, and
i have to end task, and some other times works just
perfectly...
Anyone knows how to fix this, and why this is happenning?
