access - link from sharepoint

Hi,

We have some Excel tables on a Sharepoint site.
I tried to link them to Access but get the message: unable to read file,
pleas check if file there etc...
Files are there (I browsed for them) so I don't know what the problem could
be?
Not used the Sharepoint services() option in file types simply browsed for
them.

Have any ideas?
