Access link to DB tables

I have Office97 under Windows xp and cannot get
Access to link to DB tables in paradox. I have installed
the valuepack dataacc which goes fine, but the parados
check box is already "grey". When re-installing office I
get "olemsg.dll unable to register" and the install in
not sucessful.

All I need is to link to a couple of DB tables for an
existing application

Try re-registering the dll files like this:
Start Run
regsvr32 msexcl35.dll
regsvr32 msxbse35.dll
regsvr32 mspdox35.dll
regsvr32 mstext35.dll

Use 40 instead of 35 for A2K and 2002.

That's MSEXCL35.dll not MSEXC1.dll.
