Access Link to Excel Files

I want to import two different excel files into Access,
and combine the two to get all the fields I need. However,
Access 2002 does NOT allow me to set a primary key on
linked tables. How can I get around this? Thanks!!!

No version of Access, as far as I know, allows you to change the design of
linked tables, and for a good reason too! Access refuses to change what it
recognizes as "not mine".
Now, to your question: there is no need for PKs in order to link two tables,
you can do it just fine without, if the fields you want to link are already
there!
