Access link

When i link a access file to the server
i get the following message

"The file is located outside yr intranet or unrestricted
site.Microsoft access will not open the file due to
potential security problem,to open this file copy it to
local machine or accessible network location".

when copied both the file to desktop and linked from the
local system from desktop it links ..but the link through
the server is not happenning displaying the above quoted
pb.

waiting for yr reply as early as possible
