Hi,

How do i go about closing a file, which seems to be open,
even though no user has it open on their desktop. I can
see the .ldb file and type Access.Lockfile.9

This file is created when Access opens a database (sometimes only when
two users open it simultaneously) - it tracks which user has "locks"
on tables in the database. It will occasionally be left around if one
user terminates Access abnormally (ctrl-alt-del or powering down or
the like). It's safe to delete the file if nobody has the database
open.
