Access Menu Disabling

M

Mustafa

Hi,

I am creating a database using Access. I would like to
disable the menu for users and force use of forms/buttons
within Access. I want to do this so someone cannot
arbitrarily open a form's design or it's code underneath.
However when I do this I cannot turn the menu options back
on when I need to do more development. Does anyone know
how I can enable the menu after I have disabled it in the
database options?

Thanks in advance.

Hold the Shift Key down while you are opening the database
to bypass the Startup option.

OTOH, if you are concerned about users modifying the
design of the database, keep the mdb to yourself for later
modifications and only distribute the MDE Front-End to the
users (after you split the database to Front-End / Back-
End).
