Access method over-riding

Hi,

Is there a way to over-ride the default "double-click" method, using VB
code?

What I'd like to do is for an image editing application to launch when a use
double-clicks on a cell, and for that image editing application to open the
file-path reference contained within that particular cell.

For a variety of reasons, I don't want to record a macro and attach it to a
button.

Any help would be most appreciated.

There is no default double-click method for a control except perhaps if it is
bound to an OLE field. There is just the DoubleClick "event" where you can run
any code you would like to place there.
