Access Navigation Pane VBA access

Is there a way to add or remove items from a group in the Navigation Pane
through VBA? I have an application (inherited from a client) that uses a
number of items in Access. The appliation is fairly deep and they add a
number of Tables when some of the data processes run. They want to be able
to place them in a group under a Category in the Navigation Pane. It seems
reasonable and I am suprised to not find anything in the Docs or MSDN
regarding this item. There is a NavigateTo in DoCmd but, that only opens a
pane. If there is something I missed please let me know.

You're not missing anything David, there's nothing exposed in the OM for
this, it all has to be done through the UI.
