ACCESS NETWORK SPEED

I have a small database developed in Access and installed on a network with
the data tables on the server and the front-end on local machines. I now have
to install the front-end on a machine situated 1500 kilometers away. (still
on the same network). The client takes about 30 minutes to connect to the
data tables. Any ideas on how to improve performance will be appreciated.

If you use Terminal Services, your connection will take about 30 seconds and
unless you have lots of users, production speed should be about the same. If
you have multiple users, you should have a Terminal Server, Citrix, or the
least expensive solution is WinConnect.
