Access not hold data input

We have been using this data base for over two years and
recently the data input has is not saving from day to
day. The data was input last Tuesday and now today when
going back into the database, the information is no longer
there.

Is this an issue with Access 2000 and is there a fix for
this?

Backup database first and try to to compact it. Might have too many holes in
the db maybe. Causing it not to write the info in. Have a latest anti-virus
installed and check that a latest virus definintion is intalled. Defrag the
hdd. Have you ever thought of moving to a client server system?
